MEMBERS TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

1.1 “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to the business owner(s) and management of the gym and wellness centre.
1.2 “You”, “Your” refers to any customer, member, or visitor using our facilities or services.
1.3 “Facilities” refers to all areas of the gym, studios, changing rooms, cafĂ©, and any other areas under our management.
1.4 “Services” refers to gym memberships, personal training, classes, nutrition or meal plans, and any other services provided by us.


2. Memberships

2.1 Memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
2.2 Membership payments are due in advance (monthly, annual, or otherwise as agreed).
2.3 Cancellation:

  • You may cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund (if you have not used the facilities).

  • After this period, a minimum notice of one full calendar month is required.
    2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or terminate membership if you breach these Terms or act in a way that puts other members, staff, or facilities at risk.


3. Payments & Fees

3.1 Membership and service fees must be paid via direct debit, card payment, or another agreed method.
3.2 If your payment fails, we may restrict access until the balance is cleared.
3.3 We reserve the right to review and change fees with at least 30 days’ notice.


4. Use of Facilities

4.1 You must follow all posted rules, instructions from staff, and safety guidelines at all times.
4.2 Age restrictions apply: members must be at least 16 years old unless participating in an approved junior programme.
4.3 We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left in lockers or anywhere on the premises.
4.4 Proper clothing and footwear must be worn.


5. Classes & Personal Training

5.1 Classes must be booked in advance. Failure to attend may result in charges.
5.2 Personal training sessions must be paid for in advance. Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice, or the full fee will be charged.


6. Health & Safety

6.1 You confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in physical activity and have completed any required health questionnaires (e.g. PAR-Q).
6.2 If you suffer from a medical condition, you must inform us before using the facilities.
6.3 We accept no liability for injuries sustained while using the facilities unless caused by our negligence.


7. Meal Plans & Nutrition Services

7.1 Allergen information is available on request. It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements.
7.2 Meal plans and nutrition services are for personal use only and may not be shared or resold.
7.3 We do not guarantee specific results from any meal or nutrition programme.


8. Data Protection (GDPR)

8.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2 Your data will only be used to manage your membership and communicate relevant information.
8.3 We will never sell your data to third parties.


9. Liability

9.1 We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by you while using our facilities, except where caused by our negligence.
9.2 You are responsible for using the equipment correctly and for following any instructions provided.


10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

10.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website or at reception.


11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.


Member Declaration

By signing up for membership or using our facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
